Class Descriptions

LBT

This class focuses on technique and toning rather than intensity; targeting specific problem areas. A short aerobic warm up may be included followed by a series of exercises for legs, bums and abdominals.

Pilates

A refeshing mind and body workout which focuses on core stability and posture. Exercises are performed in a very slow, controlled manner incorporating relaxation and breathing techniques similar to yoga. Pilates increases flexibility, agility and builds strength

Spinning

A powerful indoor cycling class. Using a stationary bike, your instructor will lead you through a variety of drills from hills climbs and sprints to standing on your pedals. this class improves cardiovascular fitness and stamina.

Zumba

Zumba was created in the mid 90’s when Alberto ‘Beto’ Perez forgot his CD’s and ran a fitness class using what he had to hand – a mix of traditional salsa and merengue music. From this Zumba was born! Combining high energy musical fusions of traditional Latin beats to create challenging yet easy to follow routines, Zumba really is a combination of fitness and fun all rolled into one!! Zumba can give you a great cardio workout with some all-important toning moves thrown in for good measure!

Ab blast

Ab Blast is a conditioning classes that can be a great addition to your regular fitness regime. Ab Blast focuses exclusively on the abdominal region of the body and thereby work towards giving you that six pack you’ve been longing for.
Ab Blast is a terrific way to strengthen, tone and define the abdominal region. This class is half an hour of ab work, including the various sit-up types as well as other core strength training exercises.

Piloxing

Piloxing uniquely mixes Pilates and boxing moves into a fat torching, muscle sculpting, core-centric interval workout, guaranteed to whip you into shape, using a class format that’s both fun and challenging. At the core of Piloxing is the principle that feminine is powerful and it aims for women to attain a sleek, sexy and powerful self-image. Piloxing blends the power, speed and agility of boxing with the beautiful sculpting and flexibility of Pilates.

Insanity

Don’t get scared off by the name!  If you are looking to take it to the next level – this workout is for YOU!!  Insanity is an intense cardio-based program that will push you to your limits! Developed by a fitness expert with a background in collegiate track and field, Insanity is a conditioning program for your whole body that will raise the level of your workout exponentially.

Boot Camp

A popular interval class that mixes calisthenics and body weight exercises with cardio and strength training. These boot camps are designed in a way to be different all the time, and push our participants harder than they’d push themselves. We want to keep you guessing – and challenge you differently every class! Although our instructors may push you like a drill sergeant, our goal is to offer encouragement rather than intimidation. We want you to have tons of fun – but please be prepared for some high intensity training!

Kettlercise

Kettlercise is a body transformation and toning class using lightweight kettlebells. Kettlercise is the single most effective Kettlebell fat burning workout…….designed to shape and sculpt your body. It’s fun, super quick and super effective!
